Our new costume shed was finished last year and we are about to add a second new storage shed right next to our rehearsal space – Perfect!

Saltash Regatta – June 2015

Rehearsals may be over but we’re still having lots of fun at Youngstagers.  We had a great weekend at Saltash Regatta where we raised some funds, raised our profile and had a lot of fun! – Go team !

‘Colour My World’ – May 2015

That’s it! – Its all over folks ! Wow! Its been a crazy few weeks leading up to our Summer show ‘Colour My World’ but boy was it worth it ! We all had an incredible time performing musical songs from all over the world with the help of members of MTG from the University.

We built a snowman in the Arctic and rushed off to Austria to sing with the Von Trapp family.

A whistle stop tour of Italy and Siam was followed by a visit to the lions in Africa before a much needed short interval for everyone to catch their breath from the quick costume changes!

We remembered ‘Our Last Summer’ on the beach in Greece and painted the  ‘Colours of the Wind’  on the way to America where we were greeted by a ‘ Beautiful Morning’, ‘Doin’ What Comes Naturally’ and ‘Hill Billy Rock’.

Back in Cornwall the cast sang a beautiful rendition of  ‘World in Union’ and, of course, the title song ‘Colour My World’

The audience of proud parents, family and friends loved it and we were so proud of all our amazing young performers, many of whom were taking part in their very first show!

Saltash May Fair – May 2015

Since day one, we have taken part in the Parade of Youth for Saltash May Fair and, in spite of the weather and a rehearsal, Youngstagers, StageRite, Production Team and parents braved the elements and managed to keep a big smile on our faces!

Time to dry off and warm up before an afternoon & evening of rehearsals! – Now that’s commitment!
